It doesn't. What violates the constitution is taking away rights of the citizens.

The crazy nut job Fundamentalist Christians are out to attack anyone who stands in its way. It is easy to attack the GLBT community since most people do not agree with it; however, they are out to get us all eventually.

Good luck.

Nowhere, I repeat, NOWHERE in the United States Constitution does it mention marriage. It does not mention straight or gay marriage anywhere in it. Therefore, it cannot violate the Constitution of the United States. The only thing about gay marriage that violates the Constitution is the fact that it is illegal. Meaning, the ban on gay marriage is unconstitutional according to the first Amendment: Right to free speech, etc.)

In short, gay marriage does not violate the Constitution. There is no mention of any marriage WHATSOEVER.

It doesn't. That's the part that the anti-gay marriage people are trying to change, to MAKE it violate the Constitution by amending the Constitution (as though that was the most pressing issue we face today, so serious that the Constitution itself has to be changed to specifically address it, in spite of the fact that the Constitution is only a framework for government, not its body of laws).

Same-sex marriage doesn't viloate the constitution at all, but the controversy over gay marriage involving the constitution is that the constitution mentions that this nation was/is united by God, which takes the whole thing into a religious issue, because God is supposedly against homosexuality. Personally, I think that if the bible is to be believed at all, God loves and accepts everyone as they are, but ... some people don't see it that way. Oh well. Loves,

Who says it does?
The only thing it violates are societies sense of right and wrong.
When it is placed on a ballot it is the inner feelings of that person which dictates how they vote, not anything in the constituion.
And until you STOP PLACING GAY MARRIAGE ON THE BALLOT the citizens of this nation will continue to vote how they feel is right and wrong regardless of how long you beat the dead horse.
Have a ceremony. call it religious, secular, civil whatever you want to call it. Live love that gay person all you want.
But keep tax dollars, and keep the institute of marriage, keep American values intact.
The Gay Marriage Lobby is not about helping the oppressed. It is about passing something off as something it is not.
The Constitution protects you as any citizen of America.
Be happy with that for it is much...MUCH more than most get to protect their freedoms in the world.

It dose not violate the Constitution and if you read the Bill of Right 9th Amendment,it states in a nutshell that if it dose not violate the constitution its your right to assume its your right. In addition for most gays religion is part of their marriage, they have a absolute right to the free practice of their religion. The religious fanatic read their religion like they read their bibles, that is to say they don't.

It doesn't.
For the woefully uneducated, the Constitution was not based on the Bible or any Biblical Documents and according to the First Amendment it is blatantly Illegal for anyone to attempt to force others to follow their religious concept.
Religious Weddings have absolutely no relevance(holy matrimony) and no legal significance over any other type, it is simply a ceremony. The only legal marriage is one that is approved by the purchase of License to Marry from the local governmental authorities.

It doesn't violate the Constitution - in fact, the opposite is true. Denying STATE-given rights to any citizen, like the ones associated with marriage, is blatant discrimination and should be illegal.

It does not violate the constitution at all. It is just something made up by the government because they are homophobic.

It doesn't, which is why the right wing nuts are trying to get a constitutional ammendment banning it.

Any thing not spelled out in the constitution becomes the rights of the state and the individual.
