That's a difficult question to answer with so little detail provided. Wallaroos or Euros are fairly highly strung as far as macropods go. They tend to want to be up high and can be chewers and biters. If you are seriously considering having a macropod as a pet, then consider a Red Necked or Bennets Wallaby, or one of the more docile larger roos. Kangaroo Island roos are the most calm and docile, followed by Western Greys and Reds, Eastern Greys are way to highly strung for most keepers. You will need to find out what requirements the state you live in have for keeping macropods and be sure that you have an adequate enclosure for the macropod that you decide to keep. I have 3 roos, one each KI, Western, and Red, by far the best is the KI, but they can be more difficult to obtain. An excellent starting point for you to educate yourself of macropod keeping is the Marsupial Society of Australia's website. http://www.marsupialsociety.org/ and here is another for Victoria. http://mc2.vicnet.net.au/home/msov/web/indexfront.html

No, it doesn't matter if the Wallaroo was from an experienced breeder, a Wallaroo still has natural instincts and can die if not in the proper habitat and not with experienced handlers.

Obviously you're not in Australia, where it's illegal to keep wallaroos as pets. I dont believe they should be bred for captivity, as they are not like a dog or cat that will be happy in a domestic situation. If you'de ever seen them bounding across a field in the wild, you'de realise they shouldnt be kept in captivity.

this is not a domestic animal::::no matter how well trained, it's going back to it's natural instincts. As much as we'd love to have such beautiful creatures in our homes, it's not fair to it.

the wild instinct is going to dominate this animals mentality, even though it may be tamed to man. you can't take the spots off the leopard.
