I'd like to know the cost of hiring a moving company to load my stuff, drive it to Chicago, and unload it at the apartment....

trust me..the best thing to do is get in contact with these guys... they drop a HUGE container at your home...you fill it up with whatever you want and then you call them whenever you want and they'll pick it up and drop it off at your new home!!!! they are pretty reasonable with their prices too =)

I would start at a thousand dollars and go up, have you considered the cost of utility deposits at the new place and telephone deposits, cable, just so many expenses, I estimate a move would be a minimum of 5000.00

It totally depends on how much you have and how much it weighs.
A moving company will come out and give you a free estimate.
Be sure to ask for a BINDING estimate. That way, there won't be any surprises at your new place.

i think it would be bout wat u taking to illinois but probally like 4,000 cause the cost of living is so high down there
