No. The last few coaches the Cowboys had never took them to the Super Bowl. Chan Gailey & Bill Parcells took the team to the playoffs, but they lost in the first round. I don't see Wade Phillips taking this team all the way to the Super Bowl anytime during his tenure & I don't think Dallas will ever be a good team again.

It'll happen after they move into their new stadium.
Jones just hired Phillips to fill the gap between now and then. He'll hire a better coach in 2009, they'll win the Superbowl the next year.

Not for a while. The AFC is the dominant conference for a while. Unless it happens to be an odd year like in 02 where an AFC will ride their offense to the SB and a defensive NFC team goes (possible, cowboys have a pretty good D--though it slouched near the end of the season last season) and thrashes them. But the 02 bucs D was VERY good and the closest thing to the group of talent they had assembled is the Ravens (who....arnt NFC). Plus the Bucs had the Raiders ex-head coach so that made it a bit easier (whether Bucs fans want to believe that or not). ----------------other than this odd scenario, the AFC's going to be brining it home pretty consistantly for a while.

I dont think it's going to happen soon. The AFC is still the dominant conference, and unless Tony Romo can start playing like Peyton Manning, the Cowboys arent gonna be winning any Super Bowls.

Someday

Maybe when Tony Romo matures a little more and they get another new coach. They also need to bring in a good back up for Tony .. like Quincy Carter

When TO stops whining
When Romo stops eating butterfingers
When they find a good coach
When they keep the best kicker in NFL history as their starter, instead of putting in a no-name
When they get a good defense

Shall i go on?

they will not get to a super bowl with wade phillips as the head coach, this much i do know...wade has failed consistently in the playoffs and just has never been much of a head coach in my opinion...wait until jason garrett takes over the team then you can start thinking super bowl...until then, this team has the talent to win the division but will collapse in the playoffs because phillips has no more leadership skills than norv turner and has proved that in his previous coaching stints
