The Saints were one win away from the Super Bowl this year and seem only likely to get better. They could add one or two big-time players and their young guys will continue to improve. The team has some flaws but its great offense will carry it far. Drew Brees' shoulder and Deuce McAllister's knee will be stronger with another off-season to heal. Plus their rookie class will have a seasons experience under its belt. Look for them to draft a CB in the first round of the draft this year to improve their secondary. They most assuredly will make the playoffs next year and a trip to the Super Bowl is not out of the question if they continue to get better!

With the way the Saints performed this past season, I'd easily give them a winning season and at the very least a wild card berth into the playoffs. Unless they lose a vital part of their offense, they should be in contention with the Colts for the no. 1 offense again.
By the way, from what it looks like, Reggie Bush is going to be the cover star for Madden '08. Let's hope that the "Madden curse" doesn't happen this coming season or else we're gonna be looking at like a .500 (or slightly above) team.

Hey "Babe" (who Dat?) (and everyone else) U heard it here first:
Saints will be the Next NFC team to win the SB, it just may not be until 2008.
This upcoming season: I see Reggie and Duce rushing everywhere, Drew Throwin The Heck out of the Ball to Joe and my Home town Boy Marques.
But I think they still need some D Help
12-4 or 11-5 and another conference title Game, where they loose to the Eagles, Giants, or Seahawks who go one and get destroyed by the winner of Colts/Chargers AFC title game.

sorry folks but I don't see a repeat. I see maybe 8-8 or 9-7 at best. This last year was a magical one for the team.

i'm a bucs fan so i'm hoping they're not as good as last year...but objectively, i think they are the favorites to make the super bowl out of the nfc...they return the highest-power offense in football and will continue to grow and improve defensively with gary gibbs as DC...as long as injuries do not hit them, i think all of their new additions from this past year will only get better this year, and provided no major injuries hit them they are the favorites out of a weak nfc
