By now everyone has heard about the horrible conditions at part of Walter Reed Medical Center that our wounded soldiers must endure.

He has said nothing. All he had to do, as any CEO could do, was walk in, point to the problem, and say "fix it."

Instead, he's in TN talking about tax cuts to a cheering Repub crowd that doesn't give a rat's butt about the suffering troops.

Walter Reed has had those same problems for years, and Bush is actually doing something about it. He is only one man.

This is pointless for me to answer because you are already in a "Hate Bush" state of mind. But just to let you know, Walter Reed Medical center had these problems long before Bush came into office. Why don't take off your blindfold of hate for Bush and get to the source of the problem?

Making money for vets would involve cutting funds from the Defense buget for a social service----Under Bush--Ha haa hahhahaha. Not gonna happen. But you know that, I know that, now maybe a few more people do. Funding for Vets would fall under Welfare---and you know how cons feel about welfare.

Bush was right down the street from Walter Reed today--

You think he could have stopped in and took a look for himself. If only to prop his numbers up. NOT A CHANCE. Further proof that he has his OWN agenda that has nothing to do with AMERICA'S.

The Democratic led campaign to improve V.A. benefits and conditions, defeated by the Republicans over the years, weren't just for political gain after all.

War on terroism? When did we go to war against the HOUSE OF SAUD?? Don't worry, I'll strap on my tools and head to D.C. since we own Congress and it's now OUR fault--I'm sure those cuts to the VA are looking like a shoe-in for Bush and his Buddies.

Walter Reed has had those problems long before Bush got here and will exist after he goes. If you feel that badly, try going to the hospital and fix something.

Yes your right and the troupes aren't allowed to use the bulletproof vests that their own families have spent great deals of money to purchase for them. In the beginning of the war they were putting scrap metal on their vehicles to create armored vehicles. He has never funded this war or had any idea of what he is doing

When was the last time you were there?

What have the Democrats done to fix it?

What have you done to help?

Bottom line is your blowing hot air. This attempted attack at Bush is just insulting our military seeing as they maintain and operate the Hospital.

It is NOT that easy either. Budget is allocated at +7 years. The Army Medical Command has to submit their proposal before they can get anything done.

You have proven yet again you really know nothing.

umm, we are talking about problems in part of 1 building and the repairs have been going on for a few days now, so you're kind of late with that question pal.

Our President does support our troops. He has stood up to lefties like you and not backed down on the war on terrorism. What can you say the Democrats have done? Spent 2 weeks debating a useless resolution that undermines the President's ability to fight the war and tells our enemy that we are not serious

Dream on, Skippy. It was Pelosi (D - California) who wanted a vote on whether or not to send troops and fund them. Murtha (D - Pennsylvania) wants to cut ALL funding so the troops are forced to get out of Iraq and Afghanistan. Kerry (D -Massachusetts) calls our troops terrorists. Durbin (D - Illinois) compared our troops to the Khmer Rouge and Pol Pot. Shall I continue ??
