You know what is a nice gift? My husband recently gave me a gift certificate for "A Day at a Spa". I kind of was shocked because he always gets me jewelry but when I went to the spa I was pleasantly surprised. It was such a wonderful day. You are totally pampered from head to toe, with massages, hair, nails, face. I just loved it. If you cannot find a Day Spa, look in your yellow pages of your home town and will find it. I assure you she will totally enjoy this different birthday gift. Good Luck

Dont buy her anything!

Cook her a lovely dinner, pour her a nice bubble bath, sprinkle some rose petals on the bubbles.

Hand her a glass of champagne.

Have some candles lit and soft music playing in the back ground. Leave her alone for at least 10 mins to soak, return with some chocolates and hand feed her.

Wash her back and give her a nice shoulder rub.

All this time you should have a towel or 2 in the clothes dryer warming up.

Help her out of the bath and into the bedroom for the best sex of your life...

Why the best sex of your life? Because any man who does all of this without mentioning you want sex is gonna get it big time!

Take her shopping for a new purse and shoes. What girl doesn't like shoes and arm candy? Or, if she's got expensive taste, choose one or the other. It's hard to pick those items out for people which is why I recommend you taking her along. Another good gift is a gift certificate for a massage and pedicure. Gals like to be pampered. If she's into music and doesn't have one, you could get an mp3 player or iPod. Or, buy her some good chick flicks. Get a female recommendation on those!! Good luck!

I don't think there is anyway to know what your wife would like. If she's used to jewelry....you're taking a risk by changing that....I mean, are you going to downgrade the gift or improve upon it.

I always recommend "thoughtful" gifts, versus expensive ones.

One idea is what I call a "progressive" date....it's kind of like a treasure hunt.....

Start off by giving her a wrapped Starbucks (or similar) gift card. That is where you start your date. Once there, you give her another gift card...or a picture of some place, and you head off to the next destination (say her favorite place to shop...maybe victorias secret?), then off to a movie, or dinner, a play???

Make sure, if you have kids, that you've got that covered, and have fun.....

Be original.

How about something she has been hinting at? May be her favorite perfume. Nice under garments.A week-end trip, a place of her choice.surprise party? Just be creative and from the heart. No vacuum cleaner, George foreman grill, rims for her car( my ex wanted to get me this one year)Go through the sales papers for ideas. Good luck, I'm sure she will enjoy whatever you get her as long as it has a bit of thought and Lot's of LOVE...

What would she appreciate? That's the question. A vacation? A day of pampering? Time off from daily responsibilities? When you buy expensive gifts, or jewelry you eventually run out of idea. Think about what she would really appreciate..are you often romantic? Would she appreciate time with you?

Here are a few ideas:
A gift certificate for a spa package
A scented candle, some massage oil and a promise....
Something to feed her hobby, if she has any

or whisk her away for a romantic weekend, just the two of you.

Do everything everyone else said about the spa. Toss in a big fat diamond ring, a nice new dress her size, and cooked dinner she likes with NO KIDS THERE! She comes home from that spa in good mood-you'll be in a good mood.

Women love intimacy.
They love for their hearts to be touched.

Have you ever taken her someplace and just spoiled her to the point she thinks your up to something? Is there places around you like a cozy cabin with a fire place you could rent for the night?

I am a candle kind of girl... scarfs over a lamp shade...
get a{scented} like Pumpkin or Spice cupcake candle... some kind ofAroma..

women really get off on that....it really raves them up. Get some sexy music....wine....and Lotta attention...get her a nice card.

Of course take her to dinner...when my husband did that stuff for me..it really drove me crazy...happy crazy.
