They come in through your attic or walls, and down in through where your wiring connects to your light, depending on what style of fixture you have. Or... if you have a small crack in your light fixture they will crawl in through there also. And they can't get back out.

Most bugs are attracted to either Light or warmth. A light bulb provides both. Bugs are small and can fit in to tiny spaces. They get in and then they can't find the way out. The heat of the light lack of water or lack of food kills them and you have to room them.

the purely conceivable clarification is that the "enclosed" lighting fixtures furnishings at the on the spot are not thoroughly enclosed. There might want to be a leak someplace to envision that some variety of remember (the insects) to get in. yet another danger might want to be if the hollow were contained in the cieling, enclosed by the gentle fixture.
