My son is 5.5 mo old and he sleeps through the night. He takes 3 naps a day about a hour to an hour and half nap. I would say he sleeps maybe 5-6 hours a day.

Both of my sons slept through the night at that age but I was lucky. They went to bed aroud eight and woke up at eight, but they only took one nap for two hours. My friend's son on the other hand took two naps a day for about an hour each and was going to bed a eight waking up at four and then sleeping till eight. Every baby is different you just have to get them into a certain routine.

Mine slept 9 hours at night, two naps of about 1 1/2 hours each, and one 45 minute nap around dinner time.
All kids are created different though, so use your gut with your own child!

i think (its been this way for a while i just dont remember when it started) 9 to 10 hours at night and 2 naps about 1 to 2 hours a piece. that can change a little from day to day, but because he stuck to such a good schedule, i dare not change it. he does love his sleep!

He slept about 8 hours at night, one morning (around 10am) nap for anywhere from one to two hours, afternoon nap (around 2pm) from one to two hours, then one in the evening (around 6:30pm) for a couple hours. Then sometimes I have to get him up, change him, and feed him before putting him back down for the night.

Okay they are all different..At 5 months they sleep when they want and wake up when they are either hungry or wet themself. Wait until 7or 8 months and start trying to keep them up during the day except for naps. This way they will sleep longer at night.Good luck

My child was very different - she never slept! I worried myself to death over this. My daughter was one of five children born to me and my neighbors in a 12 week period. I had the only child who didn't sleep!
To this day she's always on the go! You might have the one who is full of energy. If so, get ready! You'll be in for one heck of a ride in life!
