? thanks! i need help with this for Lit homework.. i've searched online already, but im stuck! my teacher told us that repetition is NOT the answer..and that there are actually three different things that can fit..?

It says that REPETITION is a basic artistic device, fundamental to any conception of poetry. It is a highly effective unifying force; the repetition of sound, syllables, words, syntactic elements, lines, stanzaic forms, and metrical patterns establishes cycles of expectation which are reinforced with each successive fulfillment.

Pantoum? (The second and fourth lines of each stanza become the first and second of the next stanza).

I can't find anything else like that...
