If we asked ourselves WHY they had to do a thing like that, we will end up realizing it was not up to them to CHOOSE such a job,,,They had to; otherwise, why haven't they sought other jobs...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would accept them and respect them for what they had to accept in the first place to EARN LIVING....

To hell who does not see it that way...

I can't see a reason to be disrespectful. I think it requires a lot of confidence and courage to do that kind of thing.

I have respect for both characteristics in people.

It's often not a long lived career so showgirls need to think about their future a bit though. Once things start getting droopy it seems there is isn't much support for them. (Thats a pun by the way).

Don't think family and friends should treat them poorly but if you mean family and friends are on their backs for what they do then good on them for caring. No girl with self respect should want to do this.

As unfair as it seems they are engaged in an industry that get paid to tempt people so there is a stigma and it is not totally undeserved. At the personal level we should not judge and so on, yes you are right. But at the industry level it is not strictly entertainment confusing sex and entertainment which has some effect on the soundness of personal relationships such as marriage. I mean it may help marriage as an institution if the man is focused on what's between his wifes legs. Do you understand?

Uh, I'm not sure what your question is but I would probably not be friends with someone who is a topless dancer because I don't respect women who take their clothes off to get money/attention - it just makes women look like sex objects. I try to surround myself with friends who are 'quality' people - I'm not necessarily saying that these girls aren't good people but by their choice in a profession the chances are that they are kinda sleezy.

A job should not be a stigma. Regardless of what job a person does he/she should be regarded with the same love and kindness you show to all. You look at the persons heart not at the surface.

Depends on circumstances, you dont know why someone is doing this, if its a single mum providing for her kids for example. I wouldnt be disrespectful to anyone in a different job than me cos you dont know thier background.

I don't think they get treated well. They work in a place where the customers view them as objects and devices.
