Sure it does, you can't marry a minor as one case where it does.

On a more serious note, you probably mean a large age difference. It can matter a great deal, if you let it. Or it could be a non-issue.

There could be vastly different sex-drives, expectations, experiences, energy levels, music, hobbies, etc.

I believe it makes marriage more difficult. However, a more experienced partner may make for a smoother marriage as the older partner may have already experienced some of the pitfalls young couples encounter and if the younger partner trusts the experience, things can go much smoother than two young inexperienced folks.

Depending on where you live, if you get married and you're under 18 (or 17 or 16) you need to get parent permission. By law you have to have a marriage license and when you're getting married under the legal age you must have parental consent.

If you're just TALKING about marriage, then no. Age doesn't matter. It's perfectly normal to talk about marriage with a boyfriend.

Age between partners doesn't really matter unless you're under 18 and he's over 18 (or the other way around). That might be a problem since you're going to run into legal issues.

If you're both over 18 and it's just the fact that you're... let's say 8... years apart. Then no, it shouldn't be a problem.

Love happens in weird ways. :] Do what you think is right and NEVER let someone pressure you. Marry for love darling. <3

Well I guess it depends on the age. Too young is not responsible. Too old is OK unless someone wants to have children. Is there an age difference? You should go into a marriage realizing that this is the guy you are ready to spend the rest of your life with, if you're interested in just playing house then try living together for awhile first.

Well, it doesnt nessesarily have to. Alot of the age difference can be made up by u two just having really good chemistry and personalities. And after u get some years on u, then u can get that experience. I cant say that the entire marrage relies apon your age but it can really help. So if u guys love each other the only way to really know is if u are daring enough and dedicated enough to go through it. Thats my opinion.

in some situations yes and in some no. the ages make a difference. the age difference between to consenting adults is an issue only possibly in relating to each other and if they would feel uncomfortable about it. 14 and 67 then yes it wrong, and illegal in most places
a little more detail would have been helpful

if you love that person and enjoy spending time with them and know that they are the only one that you will ever feel this way about then no, do what you think is right and dont second guess yourself! who cares what everyone else thinks! if you are happy then go for it 110% and dont hold back because if you do it will only hurt you in the long run. i personally would not say age matters as long as it is legal. best of luck and just do what your heart tells you to because you will always find your way!

Well, you should be 18, I think you have to be?

When you marry young your chance to grow apart is larger, even though you may not think so. It's better to wait and grow a little together, before you take the big leap. Less paperwork to deal with in the end!

Depends on what ages you are talking about - For instance, a 17 or 18 year old marrying someone much older; a 25 year old marrying someone who is 75.

Yes, I don't believe anyone should get married before they are 25; especially men. Your 20's are a time to grow and this is one you realize what you really want in life. That's why so many marriages end in divorce, they grow apart.

not really, but keep in mind the longer you wait the older you get.
then when u have kids at say age 30 then when your kids get to that active age, you will be 40-50 years old.
that means u really cant run around as you would be able to if u were younger.
