I have Cingular, I was happy until I found out that I was getting released from my contract for roaming too much. Cingular has changed their contract, now, if a person uses more than 40% of their anytime minutes roaming (including nights and weekends) for 3 consecutive months, then they will release you from their service. I researched T-Mobile, but have found that the places I go to the most they (T-Mobile) has bad service inside buildings. Verizon and Sprint have the best reception, but I have had problems with Sprint before, so I am going to be going to Verizon since they have had consumer reports top ratings among other cell providers, and from my own personal research.

Sprint, because for Southern California, no other carrier is better. At my work, I and a couple other people (those who have Sprint) get reception while EVERYONE else does not. I also have 500 anytime minutes, u/l n/w at 7 pm, unlimited text/internet, and no roaming for under $25. =)
Had Cingular for 2 weeks and I literally dropped more calls in those 2 weeks than I had with Sprint in 8 years. That was with 2 different razr's so it wasn't the phone, it was the service.
Many people I know who had T-Mobile switched to something else right away, so it really depends on where you live in regards to reception.

T-mobile, Altell belongs to Verizon so, not much of a great thing Cingular has way too much static and the phones are just programed to show more bars in more places, Sprint/Nextel is too expensive anyways. PLUS! T-mobile has the most smartphones of any of the carriers

T-mobile for sure. They have the cheapest plans, plus you can get Myfaves which is a great deal, and then you still have more minutes (plus unlimited calls to any 5 poeple) then other carriers. They also get signal in a lot of places. Check at www.t-mobile.com/coverage
If you get signal at your house and work, I would get T-mobile for sure. Their customer service ranks higher then all the others, and has for years. They treat you very well.

Without question, T-Mobile. I've been using their service for close to 4 years and wouldn't even consider changing.

U.S. Cellular, which is used in smaller towns. In my town its WAY better than alltel and cingular. When we roam in bigger towns we use the verizon network.
