No, sir, there really isn't such a thing as a stupid question...only stupid responses. Asking a question means that your mental abilities/ thought processes are fine tuned and working....so ask away!

I used to think that there was no such thing as a stupid question...but now I have been proven wrong, mainly by people here on Yahoo...not you...just people in general.

A question in which the asker has already decided the answer. Go look at the questions posted under politics and you'll see what I mean.

Yes. The question that has no point to the asking of it. This does not include rhetorical questions, but instead are the questions that are asked for no good reason.

Yes, stupidity is also applied in life and questions that humans do not think about before asking. That is what being human is all about, unpredictability!

If you already know the answer and just asking it to get attention then yes. Or if you ask it just to annoy someone or for another pointless reason.

not to the people asking them obviously if they are asking them it means something to them. now the people answering may think some questions are stupid, but then they shouldn't be answering them
