Some of my friends say I look scary and some say I look pretty cool. I want other peoples opinions. Come on be honest here. I can take it. I think.

There is too much dark color in your pic, I think. You need a lighter shirt since your hair is so dark. It is hard to tell if your hair is short or long because it all blends together. Pull the hair back if it is long, put on a nice color shirt and smile. You are very handsome, you just need to add a smile to that cute face. No need to look so serious, we are all friends here. Well, most of us anyway.

I'd go into PhotoShop and crop the edges of the pic so your face isn't lost in all the 'white space'. From what I can see, I don't think you're scary but I get why others might think you are. I can see you being the guy who spooks off people who bother your friends. That said, how do you like my pic? It really is me, you know! :)

To some people, scary IS cool. To me you look more INTENSE than scary, but in a cool way. Get rid of the Username though....it's too "obvious". Something vague and mysterious would fit your picture better.

Your picture is not large enough but I'm not easily scared. Now if people saw my husband they might get the wrong idea about him with his long straight black hair. I like long hair on guys. A friend of mine who I didn't see in 8 years came to visit me before when I was working. He is 6ft 5in and had long,long straight brown hair. My co workers had a hard time believing I would associate with him so he was judged by his looks but he is a comic book artist and so friendly.

Its kinda small to tell for sure, but the way you presented yourself is one that your leaning in with no smile. You look more serious than scary from what I can tell

It's a coupla shades too dark. Make it lighter, dude! It will still have the effect and you won't look quite as scary!

You do look sort of somber in your avitar pic, but the one where you are smiling makes you look really friendly. I would guess you might be goth because of your long hair and you're wearing all black.
