Dude, call Dell...

Hate to break it to you if you are out of warranty, but you gotta call them.

Or take it to a repair shop, laptops are not easy to repair if you don't know what your doing.

dell has good tech support.. give them a call, even if your out of warranty they can help you troubleshoot and you can purchace a new contract or buy a part directly.. but unless it is the power adapter (check the light on that) or the battery (take that out completely) then you may be out of luck cause then its the mother board... so if you dont have a warranty it may be cheaper to get a new system.. also try holding the fn key as it boots up.. this will put it in diagnostic mode, and it may work... oh also try taking out the battery, and the adapter, and everthing else.. and hold the power button down for 20 seconds (draining the flea power) then without the battery plug adapter back in and boot up again, check the LED lights for error codes as it comes on ... good luck to you

Sounds like you have a dead power supply or the battery is dead. I would suggest going to this site, to get further help.

In the future I would not suggest buying a dell, I have heard nothing but bad things about them.

Wow..that is like doing brain surgery over the phone. However, it sounds to me like your power supply.

you could be having trouble with over-heating. set it on a flat surface, not cloth, and let it rest for a while. if not, call a geek-squad agent. =)
