I've read the ferrets for dummies book and according to the book raisins are fine to give to a ferret as a treat. They aren't toxic and most ferrets like them. Mine don't really care for them, but if your's do then it is a good treat like I said.

i am not an expert but i do own a ton of ferrets. i give my ferrets raisins all the time for good behavior. raisins are a natural sweet treat is just like candy to them. so when they are learning a new trick this is how i reward them. go for it. and i noticed an answer about ferrets being carnivorus, mine are all vegetarians they turn their noses up at meat!!.

I personally wouldn't do it. Ferrets and Dogs are both carnivores so their biochemistry is somewhat similar. I would not risk it.

I would be careful and when you do give raisons don't give heaps just a couple.
I have seen a guinea pig die from eating grapes that had fermented a little - only ate 3 and it dies an extremely painful death.
So be careful
