Overall: Dallas, Pheonix, Detroit, San Antonio, Utah

West:
1) Dallas - best team in the NBA obviously with a 44-9 record, a deep bench, a very stable game this season and a burning rage for what happened in last years finals.

2) Phoenix - well, this is pretty self-explanatory. Best offense in the NBA, simply outscore their opponents.

3) Utah - Pretty sweet wins against all the good East teams (1-1 vs dallas, 1-0 vs phoenix, 1-1 vs. houston, 1-0 vs. san antonio) and have a great core. If Boozer gets healthy they could win it all.

East:
1) Detroit - The last time their season resembled the one they're having right now was in 2004 when they beat the lakers 4-1 in the NBa finals. That Lakers teams had definitely more roleplayers than any team in the NBA right now.

2) Washington - Very unstable but can do some serious damage against good teams (We saw this vs. utah, phoenix and LA.) Then again these are the game that Gilbert Arenas topped 50 points in.

3) Chicago - Despite not having an all-star or a star player, their roster of ben gordon, luol deng, andres nocioni, kirk hinrich and ben gordon is quite dangerous. If you remember, in last year's playoffs, Hinrich, Gordon adn Nocioni all averaged more than 20 points. However, their chances will depend on the possible Pau gasol deal that may come.

NBA:
1) Dallas
2) Phoenix
3) Detroit
4) Utah
5) San Antonio - San Antonio has been the most consistent baasketball team in the past 10 years. No reason why that should change this season.

east:
1. detroit...most consistent team in the conference
2. miami...coming on strong with d-wade healthy
3. chicago...stocked with young talent

west:
1. phoenix...when nash is playing they are electric
2. dallas...better-rounded than phoenix, but still have them 2nd
3. utah...the surprise team of the league so far

overall:
1. phoenix
2. dallas
3. utah
4. houston...when yao comes back they will be a force
5. san antonio...always lurking around in the weeds

notice where the overall top 5 all come from...thats part of the problem with the nba, there is no balance of power in this league at all, and the west will continue to dominate for years to come until the east starts showing some more muscle as a conference overall

suitable 3 in the West: a million. Lakers - Champions, duh. 2. Denver - I agree. George Karl is coming lower back, so issues ought to shape up 3. Suns - absolutely everyone seems to be panicking that Amare has left. they are in simple terms deeper now with Hedo, Childress and Warrick suitable 3 in East: a million. Chicago Bulls - they have outfitted a monster. Are you kidding me? So deep, so gifted. 2. Boston - They have been extensive issues for the Lakers and now they have gotten extra effectual. And Rondo's three hundred and sixty 5 days extra effectual, too. 3.
