Hi Lily, its frustrating isn't it. I have been trying since December, and I keep asking the same question. Everyone tells me to stop stressing about it. But the more I try to stop, the more I do. Just try to relax, and enjoy yourself. Good Luck!

Not getting pregnant for 2 months is nothing to sweat about, yet. I'm not sure if you were on the pill...but, sometimes that has to completely work out of your body before your body reregulates and becomes ready.
Then there are several other factors that can come into play. At the 6th month mark, if you have not become pregnant, get thee to an OBGYN and talk to them about your concern and seek an infertility specialist (I went to a group that were also OBGYNs). You should look to be placed through a series of standard tests, so they can see if there might be something 'standard' that they can tweek. You might be to acidic in the uterous and be killing off the little guys...your man may have a low sperm count....it could be you aren't sending your eggs out...A NUMBER OF THINGS. So, take it a little at a time. Good luck!!

2 months is not very long trying. Most doctors won't even see you for it until you have been trying for at least a year. If you want to check ovulation, www.babycenter.com has a free ovulation calendar you can use by plugging in the first day of your last period. It will tell you the best days for you to try. It worked well with both our kids, and even better when I was using it so that I wouldn't get pregnant! Good luck and keep trying.

2 months is nothing although it may seem a lifetime. I don't remember the exact statistic but it's either 6 months of a year of trying..then you're considered to have problems.
Also, if you just got off birth control, sometimes it can take a while for your cycle to regulate. I wouldn't jump to any conclusions yet, just relax and try not to stress about it. If in a few months there's still problems, then it might be time to see a doctor. Best of luck!

HI Lily, I am in the same boat. However, I have discovered a product that could help you too. Go to www.maybebaby.com.au and buy one of these mini microscopes. It will pinpoint exactly when you are ovulating. I used the ovulation calculators too but every woman's body is different. This tells you exactly by analysing your saliva. I have just had sex during my exact fertile period so I am hoping in 2 weeks time I will find out it worked. It's frustrating. I am sick of people telling me to stop thinking about it cause it will happen when the time is right. I am 34 and don't have much time to keep waiting. Have sex every couple of days to be safe. Goodluck, I really hope you get pregnent very soon. :-)

I personally know about 8 couples including my own sister in-law who had trouble getting pregnant. It was tough for all of them but all of them ended up having children naturally. Some it took 6 months others 5 years but 100% of them eventually got pregnant and had healthy children. Half of them were also told by doctors that they couldn't have kids. My recommendation is to pray and don't let yourself get discouraged. If your not pregnant in a year see a doctor but if their diagnosis is negative don't take it to heart persevere and you will eventually get pregnant.

Ok the best thing to do is to STOP TRYING and it will work for you...
if you know your body...about a couple of days after your period you will ovulate....its this thick mucus that's clear and sticky and stringy....that's the best time to have sex to get pregnant....
Good luck

Tell your husband to wear boxers, and get toilet paper from trader joe's(most paper is chemically bleached and the bleach has hormones that reduce sperm count of males).
