It can seem so. I was with Gwen for 42 years until her tragic death. Life can have its ups an downs. Our bright spring Sundays were spent in the open enjoying quiet worship away from the stares and whispers of the church. The bad days were when her hateful family managed to "corner" us in town and abuse us. Even that had its amusing side as Gwen knew all the arguments and could send them off "rending their garments" .
Sadly, she is gone but I have learned that there is still love and friendship in the world. You can even find it here among the troll's stony hills.

I sure hope so. Love can be forever in many ways. Even if you do not stay with your same partner. I have for the first time experienced what it is to fall into true love. I pray it lasts forever. Good luck!

Well it is what everyone wants but not that always happen. You fall in love and then when you have to share your life with that person, you have to learn how to live with him or her. Then you find something that you dislike but love helps you to cope with that. Sometimes they can kill your love for many reasons, because in a relationship not everything is easy. I've seen many people's love to be killed for abuse, fights, irreconcilable differences and for something so silly as when the couple start growing apart. Last forever when that love it is nurture by respect, consideration, compassion and trust. Love it is like a flower that you have to be watering with those ingredients and the lack of that start getting dry and then little by little dies. Some people find their soul mates, others learn to live and find the key to their happiness, others just throw the towel. It is a lot of compromise in a relationship. Good luck.

yes, it will be forever. it feels that way if you follow Einstein theory of relativity. PS. he said...when you sit with your loved one it feels like a minute and when you sit...on a stove it feels forever. voila....hope it helps.
