Ok, I know Violent Femme sang it...but, did the Indigo Girls sing it too?
I thought I heard a different version (from the Violent Femmes one) of this at one point...

Yes, they did. The Indigo Girls did a cover of Blister in the Sun live January 30th, 1998 in the Universal Amphitheater.
Unfortunately, they didn't record it and it's not any album. However, you can probably download it from u or bitorrent, limewire, etc. Prepare to sift through other versions, as Ooolalla, Paddy Milner, Charles Barkley have all done versions as well.

Actually a recorded version of indigo girls covering Blister in the sun IS commercially available. Its on the SHED MY SKIN ep.
