Would a reflecting telescope work properly if its concave mirror were replaced by a convex mirror? Explain

No, because the concave mirror is cut in such a shape so it will reflect and focus light into the lens. A concave mirror is curve inward so it focuses the light into a point while convex disperses light in different directions. A convex mirror simply won't reflect the light in the proper way for that telescope.

No because it would not focus the light, it would spread it out.
