Ladies - how would you feel if you have a man who is able to go into women's clothes stores with you (Victoria's Secret, Macy's ,etc) without feeling awkward, so he can direct you into buying things that he thinks is sexy.

More specifically - dressing you up like a barbie doll.

Speaking from personal experience (my husband is EXACTLY like this), it has it's up's and down's. My husband grew up in New York City going shopping with his mom to some of the best stores: Macy's, Saks, you name it, and he has great taste and a knack for shopping. While I too LOVE shopping and getting new clothes, sometimes always being told what looks cute and what looks sexy in his eyes gets old. Of course I always like to wear what my man thinks looks best on me, but sometimes I feel it turns into a control issue. I think that knowing what your man likes you to wear is one thing, but if they are trying to change you into something you are not, or something you are not comfortable being, that's when it becomes a bit tiresome. As a woman, I feel the need to be able to express my own individuality through the way I dress and present myself, and sometimes I don't always want to look like Barbie. I mean face it - who wouldn't want to look like Barbie?! But realistically, a woman needs to be able to make her own mind at times about what to wear. After all, we are the ones wearing the clothes.

My advice is to either get a girl to go with you and give her the money to buy it, or just joke around about it. "This is why you don't lose bets to your sister, you have to buy her lingerie!" "You think it's bad having to shop with your wife, buddy? Well it's ten times worse having to shop for her!" It should save you some embarrassment and harassment, but you'd have to switch stores or excuses.

No. If he tells u that u look sexy, he isn't gay, and if he's comfortable, he probably isn't going just for u. Make sure he isn't eyeing that cute girl that works there or anyone else for that matter. He also seems kind of domineering. I would watch out.

There is nothing wrong with a man who helps you shop. If he has some sort of obsession with dressing you, then there is a problem.
