In Indiana they tried to pass a bill to make it illegal for people to smoke in a car or around children under the age of 13. Is this where the country is heading where every little detail of lifes deciscions come down to if it is approved by elected officials?

Unfortunately, that is exactly what the global elite have in mind for us. It is far worse than you imagine. Unless the masses wake up, and fight back, we will find ourselves living in a world that makes Orwell's 1984 look like a walk in the park!!!

There are some laws like the ones you listed which are meant to maintain public health, but you do make a good point that should be debated more.

For example, I beieve that marijuana should be legal. There are a lot of reasons why I hold this belief, all of which make sense. I would not understand any argument against it.

However, I think it should be illegal to smoke anything in public places because it affects others and research has shown that secondhand smoke cand cause lung cancer in non-smokers.

Good point. We are definitely heading in that direction. The strategy of the so called "global elite" is to move people in the direction they want over long periods of time, remaining under the radar of most peoples perceptions. In this fashion they are moving us towards a world similar to Orwell's 1984. Thought crimes could become reality one day, if the masses do not change the system.

The fact that second hand smoke as extremely bad affects on people plays a major part in this. If you are smoking next to a thirteen year old it is like they are smoking. And there is no way that the U.S. is anywhere close to the government controlling everything. just look at some of the countries around the world and you will see how good of a situation that you are in.

I wish that it were.

Part of the trouble with this country is that our unelected Supreme Court Justices won't allow some laws that the voters or the elected officials have created -- irrespective of what the Constitution does and doesn't say. Can you say Roe v. Wade or Lawrence v. Texas?

I'd rather live in a country in which elected officials are making laws -- even if they're like the one you mention -- rather than have Supreme Court Justices make the laws instead.

They will try to do this.

One big reason is that certain people want to let govt. have control of every aspect of their lives to save them from terrorists. They live in constant fear and this is according to plan.

Remember when conservatives were against intrusive government?
