Can you explain how he invaded a country without knowing that Sunnis and Shiites practiced 2 different forms of the same religion and that there has been a strong divide between the two for centuries that has previously led to violence?

That's pretty stupid if you ask me.

Sure he may not be stupid, but he certainly makes stupid decisions. Stupid decisions wouldn't be a problem if he was just some guy on the street. Unfortunately, he's making foreign policy and if he's in charge of protecting our country.

No, I don't have a degree from an Ivy League college. I don't think that makes me stupid. I may be stupid, but not because of that. I do believe a person can be highly educated and very stupid at the same time. No, offhand I can't name anyone who finished a degree at an Ivy League college and came out stupid. But then, I'm not much interested in who's graduated from Ivy League colleges. I'd be willing to bet that if they went in stupid, they came out educated and stupid. I'm still not sure just what G.W. Bush is. My latest guess is that he's a psycho pretending to be an idiot pretending to be a moron.

Having a degree does not make you intelligent. It just means you worked hard.

I know some complete idiots who have Oxbridge degrees (Oxbridge = Oxford and Cambridge - the British version of Ivy League), seriously I wouldn't trust these people to wipe their own backsides. They were born into rich families, given a good education, sent to Cambridge/Oxford etc and finished their degrees but are still completely clueless. Even if you only put a little bit of work into your degree you'll get a reasonable pass, especially if its a humanities subject. If you act stupid then you're stupid, regardless of your academic achievements.

I also know people with no formal qualifications who are really really intelligent. Some of these people didn't get the chance to have an academic education because they came from poor backgrounds or had to leave schooling when they were only young. But the lack of a degree does not make them any less intelligent.

At the end of the day a degree is a piece of paper. Thats all.

Bush does have a degree from Yale - an Ivy League school but that is no guarantee that he is not stupid - because he is dumber than a painted fence!-

His Degree is a "Magna Come Liar" - and is rarely offered or presented to Honest graduates!

Do you mean name someone other than Bush who graduated from an Ivy and is an idiot? Or just someone who got into an Ivy League school whose father was not wealthy or head of the CIA at the time...

When a family has serious money such degrees can be all but bought. Dumbya has all the outward signs of a defective intelligence. Perhaps he's an idiot savant with his narrow genius talent being that of doing evil.

A person can be educated and still say and do stupid things. Thats just what makes us human. I don't think Bush is literally stupid but some of the things he has said and done are.

Presidents are judged more harshly than your average person. I heard that Bush actually had a C average in high school but he got into Stanford because of his connections. Also, the way he talks and his mistakes in the war don't help.

he didn't do very well in school, plus his family paid to get him into the schools, plus he drove his own oil business into the ground, Karl Rove does all the thinking for him, it's the perfect example of why someone does not deserve to be in office just because he is offspring of another politician, and finally, he can't pronounce NUCULAR!
