Why do i go red when i drink?
I find it really annoying that when i drink sometimes my face and neck go red. Why does this occur and how can i stop it?

Sometimes it can be after just 2 drinks but other times after 12, it doesnt happen all the time and soemtimes it can happen twice in a week or maybe 1 time a month. The major problem is that i always feel paranoid that i am going red so i go to the bathroom quite often just to check on my face colour!

It could be nothing, or it could possibly even be a sort of allergic reaction. i had a Friend who was like that always real red in the face whenever he drank, no matter how many he had, and one day he got real sick when we were out drinking. He only had a few, but it made him bright red and flushed, and he started getting nautious. We took him to the hospital, and it turns out he was allergic to one of the ingredients in the beer.
Needless to say, he found out the hard way that alcohol was not for him!

You are not the only person who experiences this problem when drinking. Alcohol can make people become flushed, red-faced, and it is very common. Acetaldehyde, which is found in alcohol, is a toxin and sometimes people's bodies can't break it down, it accumulates and causes flushing.

You might have rosacea - it causes you to flush very easily and is exacerbated by alcohol, spicy foods, cold weather and other things.

sounds like it could be a blood pressure or heart problem. You should go to the DR.
