I'm making some brochures for my social studies class. I'm wondering about where it is okay to put the credit (my name) on the brochure. I think that most brochures have the credit on the back pannel, but is it okay to put it on the front of the brochure (especially if there is not a lot of graphics)?

Also, how much graphics should I have on the front cover? Is it okay to just have a border and the title (fancied up)? I don't want to have it cluttered or empty.

I would suggest that your teacher intended for you to create a proper brochure...which would mean credit on the bottom of the back panel. Unless you would like the brochure to be advertising you...then your name will appear on the front. And as for pictures...you don't necessarily have to include them. But remember...a brochure has to entice you...you have to want to pick it up and open it. Therefore, there has to be more interest than simply a border.

I think it is okay to put the name on the front of the cover because if someone such as your teacher doesnt know where to find the name at, who gets the grade? I have done MANY brochures for my enriched literature classes, and from expirience, don't put more than three pictures(if less that's fine), but that's depending on size. I think that graphics attract the readers attention, but if the title is really fancy, then is fine.
