Yes i hate it. It is worse when you say sorry for disappointing then offer to make it up and get it thrown back in your face or a long sulk. We are all human and not all perfect.

Yes, I hate to disappoint anyone. I feel like a failure if I do.

If I can avoid it without compromising myself I will do it, but sometimes I just have to disappoint. I don't worry about it, they will get over it eventually and if they don't then they were not worth my trouble in the first place.

Most of the time I do but sometimes I don't care if some one is or not. they just have to get out my face with all that pouting and stuff. Like now. Excuse me as I tell my sister for the last time to stop doing that!

I always try to make people happy. I don't like to let down those I care about. I often go to ridiculous lengths to do something for a friend even if it means I miss out on doing what I want to do. I find I get a lot of joy by making people I like happy.

Yes, which is why I try not to make casual promises I can't keep. But equally I will not be guilt tripped by other peoples' unreasonable expectations of me either.
