I don't have a dog for that reason. Can the dog open doors by itself? If not, why beat it for something it cannot help?

NO never I don't want her to turn agressive towards my hands because they are loving hands and if she has an accident I know it's my fault for not managing her better.
Anyone who would hit their dog should know they won't be good parents to a human baby hitting animals is just has bad shame on all of you that do hit them

No. My dog is very good about letting us know when she has to go out. My boys know if they want to keep her, this is everyone responsibility to take her out. But their has been a few accidents, but forgivable. We do love her very much.

I rub their nose into it while a beat the dog and lock it up in the kennel or cage.

I dont but my husband does. Its not just the dog though he like to beat anything living in our home.
