Frogs:

1. Have webbed hind feet for swimming
2. Have smooth or slimy skin
3. Lay eggs in clusters
4. On every continent except Antarctica
5. Are of the family Ranidae
6. Like wet or moist environments

Toads:

1. Have short hind legs for hopping
2. Have dry or warty skin
3. Like dry environments
4. Are of the family Bufonidae
5. Have different chest cartilage than frogs
6. Lay eggs in chains (but some have live births)

Nice threat.
Frogs are amphibians, they live mainly in the water, breed in the water, etc. A toad is land based, and they have poison sacks on either side of the throat. Their skin is different to a frog, they can't climb. (no suction cupped toes). Have no need to be constantly moist, and commonly larger then most frog species, and their skin doesn't burn when touched by human fingers, a frogs skin is affected by contact with human skin and burns.

Frogs like water and toads dont and frogs have smooth skin and toads have lumpy skin.

Frogs do not have a mating call where as toads do. That is one difference I can think of right off the bat.

frogs are amphibious, toads live only on land. as a result frogs produce a sticky liquid that protects them weras toadsdo not. also toads have rougher skin.

A toads skin is adapted to drier living conditions and so is tougher, more leathery and less permeable

Toads have a warty skin and walk. Frogs, smooth skin and jump.
