Not really lots of people have little crushes on anime characters its not like they really think they are gonna hook up with them or whatever. Its just fun in fact kouga is one of my anime crushes including yusuke ranma mamoru and tamahome. Its not just girls either i remember when i was little all the boys in my class had crushes on sailormoon lol.

Most female anime fans will find that it's normal for them to crush over cute / cool anime guy. This happens a lot. For normal people who are not into anime, they will find it "strange", especially when these fans squeal over them almost every time!

As an anime fangirl, I crush on anime characters A LOT and even though people told me to stop this habit, I'm still into it. However, I'm lucky to have other people with the same interest.

One thing for a reminder: Anime fans DO realize that their favourite characters will not appear in real life. Just because these characters have the attributes they wanted, doesn't mean they don't want others just because they don't have the same attributes as the characters. So don't worry about your friend, even if she goes on forever, she might live a happy life with a boyfriend or something. :)

LOL no friggin way! ur supposed to have crushes on them!! XDD rofl they make them look cute for a reason (( fangirls)) I love Koga too he's cute. But I'm obbsesed with Kyou and Yuki from Fruits Basket..And Sasuke from Naruto...and Tsujia from Ultra Maniac...and Akito from Kodocha...and Daisuke and Dark from D.N Angel... <3 LOL and the list goes on. But anyway, anime boys are made for fangirls and it's not unusual ((it's unusual if you DON'T go goo-goo for anime boy)) LOL I can understand if your friend goes nuts if she see's Koga calling Inuyasha a "Stupid mut" he really is a hottie! ^^

I don't know about anime, but this girl I know has a crush on Andrew off of Touched by an Angel--which is to say, she has a crush on the Angel of Death. What's worse, I've got a crush on him, too!
Anyway, I wouldn't worry about your friend. She'll probably get over it in a while. (Like a year or two.) I know I always do.
Good luck putting up with it till then!

I used to waych Aeon Flux on liquid television on Mtv years ago. Over a decade later I got Charlize Theron as the starring role and now I don't have to have a crush on an animae charactor, lol.

I think it's something every girl goes trhough when she is pretty new to anime.

Who wouldn't love Tuxedo Mask to save her? Or Tamahome...

She'll get over it.
Can't be anyworse then my friend who thought that she was haunted by dead anime characters. There are online groups dedicated to people who think they are incarnations of anime characters it's crazy. I dont get it.

I've been into anime since I was about 6 or 7 years old, I've seen it all.

Your friend isn't entirely strange. I am just ga-ga over Alucard from the Hellsing series. His voice doesn't help my disposition either! A lot of people won't admit to it, but I do think it is a little normal.

Hey, I love Hikaru from Magic Knight Rayearth, so don't sweat it... it's just like having an imaginary friend, except you have the hots for 'em! No harm done...
