my daughter has to do a time line for this. what are some things that happened. other than the death of lise and then when the germans came. please help.

You can add the whole timeline of the Germans first invading Denmark, the girls being stopped on the street by a Nazi officer, the Rosen family home being invaded, Ellen coming to live with the family, the girls being sent to the uncles farm, the uncles hankerchief plays a role so add the elements that include the hankerchief. Elements that indicate the girls loss of inocense and focused reality on the situation. World events that impacted the story.

Annemarie Goes to her uncle henriks house and they have a package and have to take the germans to sweden. U Should read it tis REALLY Really GOOOOODD

don't they flee the country? Maybe your daughter should reread the book more closely...I read it a while ago so I don't really remember
