I'm in my late teens, and I suffer from a very severe case of underarm sweating. Not only does it get me humiliated at school every day, but it ruins some of my nice clothes. I've tried taking zinc, meditating, relaxing teas, natural fabrics, looser-fitting tops, showering twice a day, and the following anti-perspirants:
Dove
Lady Speed Stick
Mitchum
B Drier [maximum strength]
Still, nothing. Thankfully, there is no oder problem but I do not have the funds to resort to surgery. So please, is there anything else I can try [without a large price tag] to help me? It's brought my self-esteem to an all time low.

You have a medical condition known as hyperhidrosis. Remedies are available through your doctor and surgery can permanently cure it.

Take a look at what your clothes are made up. I was horribly stinky if I ever wore anything that was polyester. Polyester brings out the stink. Profuse sweating is also an indicator that you are not drinking enough water. Your body needs 8 glasses of water a day. The less water you drink the more your sweat will eminate from your armpits. Sweating is the body's natural way of ridding the body of toxins. The less water you drink, the more the toxins will stink and will overload your sweat glands. If you drink lots of water, you will urinate more and will do less armpit sweating. Antiperspirants block the body's natural release of toxins. If they dont work, dont use them. They are detrimental to your well being. Also there is a mental thing going on here. The more you think about this problem, the more nervous you are going to become and the more you will sweat.

Now they are using Botox for people who have an excessive amount of sweating. You can go to their website and set up a consultation with a professional. The pro and the con is that the problem will go away, but temporarily. You have to go in every 4-5 months to reapply your affected area.( You are probably going to have to pay a little more out the pocket, but it works!)

I used to have the same problem. I tried switching my deoderants and still had this problem. Later on I was told that it was because I was always anxious and never calm. It can also be because of stress and worries. There will be a point in your life where you will be a ease and the problem will slowly disappear. Have you tried Degree deoderant?

i have pretty much the same problem.

first i would try certain dri and if that doesn't work go to your doctor & he or she can give you deoderant that is just pure anti-perspriant.

it was terrible for me in highschool but i still have it today. However, certain dri and the anti perspriant you get from the doctor kind of stings so don't shave!
