Nah, it would just be superfluous and unneccesary like the 1997 made-for-TV remake of the 1957 classic 12 ANGRY MEN even though I read decent things about it and featured veterans Jack Lemmon and George C. Scott.

I hope they dont do a full remake, I think they would bomb it as they do most remakes.
They already made a very close spin off of this movie with "A Time To Kill"

I hope not! The quality of the actors' work (especially Gregory Peck) in that movie, and the classic look of the black and white film...there's no way they could improve this movie!

i was thinking about just that. i think they should. i have already seen it and liked it.
as for who will play the main characters, well i'm not sure. i have thought about it that much. rather, i don't really know. but i think mekhi pheifer can be tom.
