his death has no effect on my life. removing him from power however has made my life more dangerous. As a citizen of the U.S. the terrorist threat has become greater thanks to the actions of our president. We destroyed all the terrorist bases in Afghanistan, but by removing Saddam from power and allowing a weak democracy in his place, Iraq has now become a haven for terrorists. Had we planed correctly and had a strong and robust government ready to lead the country of Iraq the terrorist and insurgents would not have been able to get a foothold in Iraq and all of our soldiers would have been home years ago.

Personally, no effect.
Instead of hanging him, they should have put him back in power. He knew how to keep his people in line. They are savages, and will never understand democracy. You don't see them helping out, do you? Once we leave, they will stab us in the back. Bush made a grave mistake. Iran will be allies with Iraq, instead of enemies who were too busy slaughtering each other to care about wanting to nuke us.
WW III has just begun.

I feel good. There was no hope of correcting him; the Iraqi judicial system did the right thing. It set a good example--I believe discipline and consequence reduce bad acts--provided it is good that is in control (it has worked quite well in the US).

Now that the job is done it is time to bring the troops home and leave Iraq to the Iraq's.

I don't think he was killed to help me. I believe he was killed to help the people who he dictated....those are the ones that have been effected by his death.
