It can be anywhere between 10-16 for the normal range and a little each side for the extremes of young and old.

All girls are different, some start their periods as young as 6 years old and some don't get theirs until 16 or older. Most girls get a white or clear discharge right before they start. If you are having a discharge, look forward to starting your period soon.

You can have discharge months before you start.

u can get ur period anytime from 8 to 16 some start earlyer and some start l8r. i dont know how old u are but i started at 13 its not all that bad i just sed mum i think ive started my period she gave me a hug and that was that . if ur expeting ur period u usually get stomach or back aches fell moody tired have headaches,some ppl get none of these they just get the period wen i started i had a reallly bad stomach ache that lasted like 5 days then i knew iwas starting . also if ur breasts have started developing and u have discharge u could be started soon u never sed how old u r how old r u?

You can tell it's coming, because a about a year before you get it, you start to have white discharge.
