My family (not to be self centred) need me. which is why i have conflict of interest as to whether i should stay or go and pursue a career in a far away place. it seems the right time as my friends are now beginning to disband and we rarely hang out anymore as a group.
if you were in my position what would you do??

Why does your family need you?
Will it be an inconvenience to lose you or a travesty?
At some point, you need to make your life... you need to leave and be your own person.
I cant give you advice without knowing the answers to those questions

That very much depends on how badly my family needed me (and for what) and what the alternative opportunity would be. It's a judgment call.

i just left my friends at my school it sucked we cried alot but we can still be in touch and try to make new ones but no one can fill in their places and im pretty shure they wont let anyone take my place what you should do is visit your family and friends on holidays and keep in touch dont lose contact because that will just spread you guys farther apart

you need to live for you sooner or later. With family it is not going ot get easier if you wait.

They need you for what? If they are able bodied..you are entitled to a life of your own and I say go and live your life.
