Barcelona are a team first and foremost and Ronaldinho did as best he could. He was heavily marked but other players needed to contribute also. It cannot always be left up to him. He is admittedly tired and fatigued and feeling under quite a lot of pressure. At some point it has to have some effect on his form . No one, I don't care who can play 100 % in 100% of games. That's just an unrealistic goal that fans often set for them.

he played blah.. Im pretty disappointed. The problem is I think Ronaldinho needs Eto'o to be at his best. They both complement each other perfect. Also, Messi wasn't at full fitness yet by any means. Its just disappointed we had to play the first leg at Camp Nou instead of Anfield but I guess thats how it goes. If Eto'o comes back with 90% fitness and Messi comes back more fit than he was tonight, then we should be okay.
Ronaldinho will bounce back for the second leg. Don't worry.
Yes, what andygurl, lavaman and mj have said is accurate. But I think when Eto'o comes back and messi is at more fitness, that would help Ronaldinho as Liverpool or any barca opponent can't put 4 men marking Ronaldinho.

Ronaldinho played OK last night, but what you can expect him to do when he always blocked by 3, 4 players all the time. When you cut down the supply from Dino, while Messi isn't in his full fitness, you can't do much thing. BUt he's not the one to blame, I think Valdes handed Liverpool the win tonight.

Newcastle 3 - 0 Man Utd We may be a challenge for you but you were not much of a Challenge for us this season. The Man Utd game was one of our easiest games this season. I expect a bigger Challenge from Liverpool.

He didn't play good, not at all but it wasn't the first time this year. He hasn't played that good since the beginning, esp in important matches like both matches against Chelsea, or against Valencia, Real Madrid etc
He has scored yes but most of the time by free kicks or penalty shoot outs and few very few times during an action

His performance wasn't the best, the same for Messi...he needs more time. I thought that Saviola had a decent game, I think that he's a great player.
I Hope that we win the next game...

You can't expect Ronaldinho to play well if you have five guys marking him, but I hope that Barca noticed.

He just wasn't "present" during the game. It's like his body was there but his skills stayed somewhere else...
