This is a very distressing question, which has no definitive answer. A person who deliberately kills, especially a baby deserves the death sentence, as there is no death sentence in UK, then life. A person who kills through neglect or pure accident deserves to live the rest of their life with the death of another on their conscience, the circumstances surrounding the incident have a large bearing on the deserved custodial punishment. From the family of the child, then no sentence will ever be appropriate.........

what about the fella speeding in the car that killed a woman her son and her unborn baby only got 7 years im sick over that he should have got 3 life sentences at least 21 years and be made do them all i think if a person takes someones life they should have to spend the rest of their life in prison

uh? he was driving recklessly is that what you are saying? Then he should get the maximum sentence. But didn't you know it's better to be a criminal then a victim cause the criminals have more rights.

Personally, i would go and shoot the F@@KER DEAD,
but as the law stands, the Judge will most likely slap his hand and tell him to go home and be more careful next time..
WOT a SHITE law system the UK has......

KNOWING THE JUSTICE SYSTEM HE WILL GET A SLAP ON THE HAND AND TOLD NOT TO DO IT AGAIN THE PRISONS ARE FULL AFTER ALL. MY GRAN STILL GOT 2 WEEKS FOR NOT PAYING COUNCIL TAX THOUGH
