Clothes from Wet Seal or Forever 21. they will glam you up without spending all the money for designer clothes!

go with classic and simple peices. If a person walked into a room and had dark well fitted jeans (not baggy not tight) with a white crew-cut t-shirt on and a nice long necklace (clairs $5) and a large bangle braclet and some nice shoes with a clutch that person would look so tendy and can be pulled off with $20 (if you already have a pair of jeans) go to target or walmart and get a fresh white shirt and grab some bright large jewlery pieces you will look very trendy.

great jewelry. and you don't have to spend a lot. heck, go to Claire's or something. they've got some really good, fun pieces. and CONFIDENCE is the most important thing you can put on :)
