Is it normal for a straight woman to get turned on by women in men's mag's? Does this happen to other 'straight' women? I've been with my bloke for 10yrs+ but I've always stumbled across this from time to time and part of me wonders if this is the 'real' me. I can't imagine living or being in love with another woman so is it just a lust thing and if so WHY?????????????????

Just to add a few details.... when I looked at a female naked body I became aroused, I don't know why I just did. I don't think I wanted to be her but I'm not a phsycologist so I can't answer that. This has always been my reaction to the naked female but I've just controlled the amount of times I've looked, not very much as I want to believe I'm straight but I'm wandering that maybe I'm not, what do you think as I don't understand why I would feel like this if I'm so-called hetro.

Sexuality is a complicated & a very individual thing. Don't try to put yourself in any categories such as Bi, straight or gay. I once learned that sexuality is like a scale from 1 - 10. If number 1 is totally straight & number 10 is totally gay, then where do you think you'd be on the scale? If asked I say I am gay, but if I rated myself on the scale I'd be number 7. If you feel attracted to pictures of women then there is nothing to be afraid of, allow yourself to feel this way & learn to embrace & accept it. The main thing is don't worry as it is just a normal part of your sexuality, most people aren't no. 1 or no. 10 even if they won't admit it! Take your time to work out if this is something you want to explore further, or if it just a fantasy & you'd rather keep it like that. I don't know how strong your relationship is with your partner, but is this something you feel you can discuss with him? Otherwise you could seek help, there are all sorts of organisations & helplines who can offer you advice. It is always good to talk to someone about your feelings & not bottle it all up inside. Good luck & remember this is common, you are certainly not alone.

I guess you could say that you might be bi-curious. In what way are you turned on? Is more about how the women look gorgeous, and the attention they get, thus an introverted look relative to male gaze. Or when you see the picture you lust for that woman's body? If it is the former you aren't bi. But if it is the latter, than you could be bi. Even though you don't think you could have relationship with another women doesn't necessarily mean you are straight. I thought sexual attraction was a big part of this as well. If you are sexually attracted my women, then that means that you could be bi, but you still could be more towards the hetero side of the spectrum.

So you are saying Katie U that most women or everyone has been sexually attracted to another woman's body at some point of their life. So basically everyone finds the female body attractive and not so for the male body? I understand the genital aspect, but the male body isn't supposed to be beautiful, because grace and elegance is feminine. Yeah, the female form is more feminine, duh.

That's like saying the masculine form is more attractive because it has better muscle tone and definition or build and is more "handsome". Well, I should hope the male form is more "masculine" looking than the female form. I thought, objectively, they were equally attractive as far as physical appearance, but just different. Like apples to oranges. Yes, the female form being beautiful is nothing new to me since, I being straight, have always loved looking at it.

But, call me naive, but I didn't realize how inferior the male form is looks wise compared to the female form. I've always had a naturally well-built, lean muscular, and toned physique that obvious got better when I worked out. I'm sure there's a lot of dudes that work out also. So, I will admit that I am proud of my physique, but not in a vain manner, but just good. But, now I gues I should rethink things about my "male" form after all the things I have heard here, or Seinfeld, or some other places.

have u ever wanted to have an affair with another woman? Just looking in a magazine isn't that bad unless you're goign to act on it for real. Same thing as if u were looking at a man, don't act unless u want a divorce. But if u are bi, then talk to your man, tell him the truth or your feelings and ask for advice.
This suggestion may be far out there but have a 3 some and see who turns u on more, the man or the woman. And go from there...
Good luck...

You may think I am odd thinking this but I believe there are evil forces in the world(as well as the stronger good forces from God) that do create these lustful type feelings to make one deviate from 'the norm.' Their intention is to destroy us/relationships through the act itself and the guilt afterwards. I had the same sort of thing when an elderly Christian woman was praying for me after a church service one evening. Whatever you do please try not to worry about these thoughts because I think they happen to everyone at some time. May God bless you and keep you safe.

Lets face it, the naked male body isn't exactly beautiful. Find a female who has not been attracted to another female at some point in their life and you've got yourself a liar. It's just nature, don't worry about a thing.

Questions like this I believe only the asker really knows. Study it some, and if you think it matches what you're feeling, then maybe you are, but its not for me to say. You can't be a bad person because of your sexuality.

It is normal to be turned on by the same sex. Ask yourself, were you turned on because you wished that you were her or wanted to be in her position or did want to hold her kiss her etc? That should answer your question, sometimes we can become confused by such signals its just that when we get 'turned' on we don't know our true feelings and can honestly mistake them for something else.

You may simply be bicurious at this moment in time. No-one on here can give you a definitive answer. If the curiosity eats at you, and you act upon it - then you'll know afterwards....

Well I definitely agree with crazybubb, and I agreed with jargon up until he said u were normal....so is he saying if your feelings really meant something you wouldn't be normal? I'm bisexual and the only way i knew for sure was to experiment!
