I mean if a new band came out that sounded alot like The Beatles would you buy the CD´s andgo to the concerts

I wouldn't care if they resembled the Beatles as long as they didn't try to be exact an exact copy of them. That would be impossible to pull off and still have some originality.

nah not really....
only the Beatles can be the Beatles and if they actually TRY to be something theyre not then they dont do very well
sure maybe they can sound alot like them but they wouldnt have the same flair .ill stick to the original Beatles thank you very much.
well in a way i am doing this already...although i didnt start getting into him for the reason he was Beatlesish (in fact i didnt even think about the Beatles..when i first got into him). but i am into Drake Bell and i have met him too. his concerts are awesome! and i find it admirable that he is soo much like the Beatles yet hes his own person you know...with music he wrote. in my eyes he is the next 'original' Beatle.
maybe subconciously one of the reasons i was into him then too was because he does have that same feel as the Beatles. very classic. i have always admired good classics. that one guy that interviewed him on a radio show is right, he looks like Paul McCartney (in his early yrs of course) but sounds like John Lennon.
and the biggest thing is hes not even trying to do this..hes just doing what he enjoys and the influences he has flows through him.
in conclusion i guess Drake is doing what i think is good to do...providing familiarity (because we are most comfortable with the familiar things.) yet originality at the same time.
idk how to explain it hes got the same feel but diff. lyrics and a somewhat diff. sound. you know what i mean? the sound is the same yet different. maybe the best way to describe it is Beatles with a modern new-age sound.

Not really since I'm not a huge fan of the Beatles ... they had a ton of hits back in the day but " Rock & Roll " has changed through out the years ... I like something a little harder than Come Together ... lol ... !

I would listen to them. The Beatles were a wonderful band. So many of their songs are classics.

yes! i loved the beatles
check out the british pop band, McFly, they have done some Beatles remakes including She Loves You and Help, & they sound pretty good!

the beatles's style is unique if their stuff sound like it i would like it but i would also like a unique band with their own sound. The beatles sound if already taken.

if they were good, then yeah I'd buy their cds...I'm not big into going to concerts...have a thing about crowds of people...but I do love the more 60s sounding bands...
