Not a chance. Thats the last thing they'd need. Prince Harry killed by a roadside mine. Line of succession modified again.
You'd just as soon see the Queen herself, walking her dogs down the center of Baghdad. That would be worth it just to see the look of awe on their faces!

Why do you find it unlikely? Or are you just someone who knows nothing about History?
As Andrew served in the Falklands War (He was nearly shot down on more than one occasion) as a Helicopter Pilot, I see no reason why, if Prince Harry's unit go out to Iraq or Afghanistan, he would be stopped from going!
The fact he is a Prince of the Realm won't make a difference. Other Royals have done their duty in other conflicts Prince Phillip, Prince Micheal, Lord Mountbatten etc, The Queen joined the Women's Auxiliary Territorial Service and the Queens parents refused to leave London during the blitz, the ONE reason why The Queen Mum was so respected!
I'm sure Harry will carry on the family tradition!

i'm specific they are going to have an entire platoon of infantrymen assigned to guard Prince Harry so he does not get harm on a similar time as he's in Iraq! No way will the British military enable the guy who's third in line to the Throne come domicile in a bodybag!

I see no reason why not.
He joined up voluntarily just like the rest of them so I am sure that he is perfectly ready to go. I do not think he is the type of man that would want any special treatment because he happens tp be the Queen's grandson.
I think he wants to be treated like an "ordinary" guy.

Yes, he will be sent to fight. No, it is not a "look at me" thing. His battalion was ordered to get ready. The Military almost refused to send him. He threatened to resign his commission if they did. I think that he sounds like a good officer who wants to serve with his troops. I think that Prince Charles should be proud of him. He could have easily played the Royal card & chose not to.

he will be sent to a securely occupied part of iraq but he will most likely be used to raise morale of the royalist troops and sort paperwork.
i hope he gets a unionist commander :D

Depends. He has bodyguards, if they can't get visas as they are not members of armed forces but civilians. He won't be able to go. Also PM announced today 1600 troops coming home. Leaves about 5000 there. So would say minimal chance of him being rotated there.

No, he won't , and it's bad that they are making him look brave. He will be kept away from all the fighting and danger zones, our boys are doing a great job but why should Harry get all the credit. Send him to the war zones.

he wants too I think, but what about his security and the security of those around him?
For that reason, I cannot see it happening!
Has nothing to do with "Look at me"!
Andrew did it in the Falklands, but these terrorists will be out to get Harry!
