what do you prefer....standard,or latin?

Both. I'm a 10-dancer. I can't make myself pick.
I find Latin a bit more challenging but on the other hand it is so much fun it all pays off. I know I have better natural ability for standard then for latin. If you ask what do I prefer watching - then the answer would be definitely Latin.

I prefer Latin but i seem to do better in ballroom i also prefer the ballroom costumes theyre so pretty and the latin ones can be uncomfortable

I love standard, but latin's good too. I guess I'm better at standard...i find some of the stuff in latin a little difficult. Even though I say that, one of my favourite dances is rumba. In standard, waltz and quickstep are my favourite.

I like rumba and waltz best- a little more romantic. Salsa and cha-cha are more energetic, and swing is more of a fun dance.
