Hi,

i'm in the midst of prepping for an interview with AMC tomorrow. it's just for a minimum wage job so i doubt their will be much business related questions. i would appreciate it if you can post some common, basic interview questions that would relate to my situation. also i know that alot of the questions will be situational, for ex: it's opening day for harry potter, the projector isn't working what do you do.? and questions like that, so if you could also post some possible scenario questions for movie theaters that would be great!

thankx in advance!

It's just a minimum wage job, just be yourself, dress nicely, and you'll get the job. You're not interviewing for a well paid position.

most common are:

Do you work well under presure? Yes, because i can multy task well and handle many things and people all at once so i feel i do well under presure.

What is your biggest weakness? I have to finish every thing i start, and this some times does not allow me to have much down time. (boss's love to know that your always working and not screwing around or chatting w/coworkers)

most of the time minimum wage jobs are given to who ever. becuase most of the time you dont' have to be qualified to do the job so they just want to know you will be on time, respectful, and hard working. when going in for the interview dress nice. no more than one earing per ear, and one ring, no necklace or braclet because of your nerves you will be temped to play with it. bring a resume if possible, always say yes mam no sir thank you for allowing me to interview with you today. always thank them for there time as well. smile and shake there hands and let them knwo there more than welcome to contact you at the provided phone number. and if it is a cell phone make sure you have a mature voice mail message. and state your full name , after you get the job then you can change your voice mail to what ever.

Hey, I answered your other question too! LOL, I think will ask you like where you are from, if you had another job, how old you are, if you have experiance, and now the scenarios. Well, I think that the projector one, and then like snack machine breaks, you know- typical movie theater problems. I hope that helps! I really hope my outfit one helps too!

Good Luck =D

One that has stumped me before in an interview: "Tell me your best characteristic and your worst characteristic?" (WHAT?!? You want me to tell you something bad about myself?!?) I have actually been asked this a few times, and my best response is to use the same answer but make it in a positive sense. Such as: "My best characteristic is that I am a perfectionist and really pay attention to the details of any project. Although being a perfectionist, sometimes it may take me slightly longer to complete the project because I am paying attention to the details and striving for the best results."

Why do you want to work here?
What's a downfall you have?
Are you willing to work overtime?
How can you make this company better?
Do you have transportation?
What skills do you have?
The number one thing employers look for is people that show up for work. I had a boss that went to the jail to interview people because she knew they would show up for work just to get out of jail on work release. They were some of the better workers.

Why should we give you the job?

Tell me 5 good thing about yourself.

What should you do if a customer is rude to you?

What should you do if a child has lost his/her parents?
