One doesn't have to "stand up and shout" their beliefs ibto the face of others in order to be recognized.

If I had a belief that was a minority belief, I would continue to believe in it no matter what. If my human rights were being abused as a result of those beliefs, I would try to change the abuse so I would not be hindered to practice my belief.

Our sexual beliefs are really no one's business but our own.

What one does in his/her bedroom is their business. No one has the right to tell someone what they can or cannot do in the privacy of their bedroom.

If you don't like that person's belief, stop nosing around in their bedroom and worry about your own life.

My first instinct is to take a stand. However, it depends on the country. For instance, in the Muslim world, taking a stand is dangerous, and rather foolish. Perhaps it would be better to talk to someone you trust, and ask their advice. Here, you will get "take a stand"....you can always continue to hold your own beliefs, and when you are an adult, and can choose for yourself, move somewhere else.

Here's the problem. I don't care if a gay person does his thing IN HIS OWN BEDROOM - but I do not like, nor do I appreciate some sick turkey who feels obligated to tell me his sexual habits.

I NEVER seen a Heterosexual come up to anyone and out of the blue start telling me or anyone else, "I'm a heterosexual!" but there are many, many gay people who for no good reason, bring up their sexual preferences at work, on the street, and even in job interviews.

If I were in charge of interviewing people for a job, and some person starts in.., "I'm a heterosexual" - or - "I am gay" - I would not hire that person because obviously this person is twisted and thinks of nothing but sex. I would not be hiring people for sex but for WORK.

A man working as a Boy scout leader - who starts teaching is sexual ideals needs to be fired and or jailed. A boyscout leader is not supposed to be teaching Sex Ed.., and thats not what the Boy Scouts of America is about. But for whatever reason, far too many gays are pushing their sick, mental illness off as normal.

And by the way - I am exercising my right to stand up for MY beliefs. I'm ready to fight for my beliefs. You keep it in your bedroom and away from my children and we have no problem. be gay, be happy, but don't push it in my face and we can get along just fine.

I don't hate people because they are gay - but I hate and despise right down to the bone, the actions they take and I personally have the human right NOT to accept the practice and to refuse it,

There have been gay people who tried to talk me into getting jiggy with them. When I told them no, and why they started in trying the Politically correct garbage, trying to literally shame me into guilt, hoping in some way I would give in. The one fellow even tried to touch me against my will. Sorry - but let him know real quick he was risking severe injury if he touched me in any way.

And YOU are telling me - he has the right to push onto me, touch me, stand up for his rights? I HAVE RIGHTS AS WELL! So bugger off. As long as they dont push me, they can do their own thing but do it AWAY from me and my family.

take a stand for what you believe in, but i don't see why people who are against homosexuality can't say it...anyway i'm not against them as people, and i don't like to sadden or anger people, so i just keep my mouth shut. now i'm going to get a bunch of thumbs down because of my beliefs, for saying what i believe in, for stating my opinion.

Keep my mouth shut and hope not to discuss the subject. I will defend anyone else who I believe is right(ex: defend gay people). But I will no means bash my beliefs.

Wanna be happy? Then do as you wish in private, but in public remember: "When in Rome, do as the Romans do."
