Just look at all the other nervous people and just laugh.
I did that and i just enjoyed the audition.
(I went into the audition just for fun with no doubt that i would not be considered for anything and i got a callback. I was told by the director and choreographer i had huge talent for a lead role next year (i am a sophomore in a school where only seniors get speaking roles))
DON'T WORRY!!!

Well, when you are rehearsing your lines, do it in front of a mirror so you can see what you are doing. Don't play with your hair or do anything habitual like that.
When you feel comfortable enough, I suggest you act out your line in front of a friend or someone that you are comfortable with and get any pointers you can from them.
All you can really do to get rid of stage fright is be very well prepared and just get out there and do it. Try not to look directly at the audience. As this can cause you to freeze and lose your train of thought. Instead, look at the wall or something related to it. Really get into what you are doing and you should forget about the audience.
I used to have stage fright as well. But I just kept getting out there and doing it anyway and it soon faded away.
Also, one thing that you can do if you are comfortable with yourself is getting in an acting competition. Your judges can really help you out by giving you pointers on what you should do.
Good luck!
Cheers!

Did quite a bit of drama in HS. Concentrate on the part. Get into the character. Every actor has stage fright, especially on opening night, but once the performance starts, you take on the character and the nervousness goes away. Break a leg!

i'm a extreme college actress and the main suitable advice i could desire to provide you is to gown in something expert that facilitates you to flow freely for on a daily basis of auditions. The director at your college likely should be sure somebody who places attempt into their audition so I recommend donning gown pants and a sturdy colored spectacular with closed toe, closed heel shoes (jazz shoes are a sturdy selection). to your dance audition you like to be waiting to flow. For the singing audition do no longer SING something YOU HEARD on the RADIO! discover something from a musical that fits your voice. don't get discouraged in case you don't get a factor, you may desire to no longer be maximum appropriate for the play. shop auditioning!

Yes, don't forget to breathe. We tend to hold our breath when we are nervous, but it stops us from relaxing. Take youe time and be yourself or who ever your'e trying to be (lol)

Just think of all the fun you'll have at rehearsals and finally doing the play.
Once you get that in your mind, you'll be great!
