what a state this country is in. with immigration, crime, lack of education and lack of industry what is happening to England. How are we going to wrestle this country back from the over payed, useless politicians and make this country ours again?

We need a totally new kind of leadership,forget labour and conservative we need a party who is willing to say no more immigration and to take a solid view on crime..bring back incarceration and the stocks for criminals who constantly re offend..they say we are a civilised society yet it seems that only the baddies in society get fair treatment

Permit me to add a little perspective.
As a young Englishman, in 1966 I left this country and emmigrated to South Africa with my parents.
I remember the popular sentiment at the time was that Britain was all washed up and finished.
I returned 3 years ago and lo and behold, old Blighty is still here and apparently prospering.
Now I am not saying that I think all is well. Clearly there are some serious problems and I won't list them here as we all seem to know what they are.
My answer to you is to take heart and do what you can do for your country and try to live a good life. You will probably prosper too.

Labour is hopefully finished - this country will take a long time to recover as he has not only led us into wars that most of us didn't want he has allowed the people who work hard and are good citizens to be systematically demoralised by his policies and obsession with bleeding heart political correctness.
We have to have a change in politics and for people to stop thinking other parties would be worse - just how worse can things get on what we have right now, and what Blair has led us into?
Demonstrate in Whitehall - cast your vote with another party - but give even them a clear message that we are sick of being taken for a ride!

Fair enough gripe mate! But I can tell you that the quality of life I had just after WW2 does not even begin to compare with now. Different world, you'd think you'd landed on Mars! As for the details, we'll get through it. Britain always does, probably due to the additions to the gene pool of the immigration waves of the last few thousand years

not at all, what you underestimate is the resolve of the indigenous Englishman. Look at the response to Bliars proposed road charges, 1-8 million e-mails telling him he's a pratt basically, we've just started, civil disobedience is gaining momentum, a town near where I live are destroying parking meters and gatsos, pensioners are going to jail in defiance of this regime disguised as new labour. The police and government are neocriminals, we the poor are fighting back and regaining our power of positive social non-conformity, they can't lock us all up there's no bloody jails left lol.

Good question, i wish i knew the answer. The option of moving to another country is not the answer, because everywhere is in a bad state for some reason. I used to love England and be proud to be British, now I'm not so sure!

Get the Labour party out as soon as possible before this country self destructs.Why anyone would want to vote Labour beats me.They are the party of envy and greed and are hell bent in pulling us all down to rock bottom by Stealth taxing us to death..... Rubbish tax, House rebanding tax, Pay as you drive Tax, whatever will these morons think of next ?

I don't see any way of getting the Great back into Britain. I got out 3 years ago and am now enjoying a life in Spain.
