I must admit, that I am rather ignorant as far as artificial limbs, but this does not sound like a good idea to me.

If it wasn't for Emmit Smith, Stacy Kiebler and Jerry Rice, the show would be called, "Dancing With The Washouts/Hasbeens."
1. She is not a star, she is a gold-digger.
2. It may be possible. (example: handicapped Olympics)
I agree, this is not a good idea. Heaven forbid her leg pops off in the middle of a dance. That would be sad. HILARIOUS, but sad.

Yes even though I don't like to judge then I'm gonna start by saying u are ignorant as far as people w/disabilities These types of people do amazing things everyday. U should watch the news more often. Just because she has an artificial limb doesn't mean she can't achieve a goal such as being on dancing w/the stars.So try to understand rather than to be judge mental. Not all Hollywood stars are built perfect but I commend the ones that achieve something even if they never get famous,but to go places and do things is an achievement in its self.

I had never even heard of this "chick" until all this mess with Paul McCartney came up! Heather WHO? Boy, did Paul ever make a BIG mistake with this one! WHAT WAS HE THINKING?!
I certainly have a hard time believing that PAUL would ever abuse HER - more like the other way around. This is one time that I have to feel really sorry for "the celebrity" - He really did not deserve this one! Hope she bombs! PAUL'S NOT DEAD! - LONG LIVE PAUL! :-)

I agree! She's not a star!! I'm hoping she'll be the first one to go. Not many people like her at this point. How and Why ABC asked her is beyond me!! I just hope they're not paying her millions like Paul did!!!!

She is a star, she was a model. I am sure that she has special prosthetics that allow her to have better movement if she runs or dances.
We will see as to how she does.

She is a money grabbing $%^#, and will do ANYTHING for money, even make a fool of herself on TV, I won't watch this year, they lost me as a fan of the show. What the heck were they thinking getting her. We all hate her, she knows that ..kick her off fast....

her leg isnt cut off all the way up to a nub, she has quite a bit of a stump, she can maneuver just fine.
