Poverty, lack of adequate medical care, lack of adequate schooling, lack of adequate shelter... I could go on and on. Given those I don't think terrorism is anywhere near the biggest problem we have.

In a single word, yes.As far as india is concerned the biggest objective and is very hard to achieve is Terrorism.Perhaps many developed countries also facing this kind of problem.Basic origin of terrorism, simply speaking, is poverty. As long as starvation exists,it is really a hindrance to achieve terrorism free country.discrimination among the people on the base of religion, class etc are major other source for the terrorism.

Terrorism is a symptom of humankind trying to impose it's will on others. It is predictable and stoppable, but difficult in a free society. Natural disasters are also somewhat predictable, but much harder to prepare for. Both require that people take precautions and live with the idea that something definitely will happen sometime.

ya , terrorism is the biggest problem that our society is facing today because
a lot of people are died because of it.compare to other problems like poverty and all horrible things we erode those things but we never erode terrorism because it is strongly settled in some regions.now it is spread to our entire society to en-roll their in the history.
we can erode those things only if we are able to provide a good surrounding nature to all the peoples in the entire country.if it is possible then it is not the biggest problem.
then the biggest problem is providing all those things.

I don't think it's the biggest problem. It certainly is something we need to be concerned about, but things like HIV, global warming, and violence within our neighborhoods far outweigh terrorism. If you lived in Afghanistan it would be a totally different story.

I think that there are much bigger problems that have oppressed many people in our society long before terrorism ever even became an issue for us.

I feel that the ramifications of poverty are the biggest problems facing the world today, second only to the problems that religion makes.

No.....Terrorism and global warming are being used against us by politicians to control us. it's obvious that fear is the best selling item in america today. A good book to read is "overblown".
